SEGA’s initiatives, including the Sega Girls’ Secondary School, Post Form Four Scholarship Program, and Msichana wa Kisasa Community Outreach Program, have been changing lives and shaping leaders for the future.

SEGA is seeking dedicated and competent female candidates to join our team at the Sega Girls’ Secondary School, located in the Mkundi area of Morogoro Municipality. We currently have several exciting opportunities available for qualified individuals to join us in fostering academic excellence and holistic growth for our students. Key Details:

We are hiring for the following positions:

1. Information and Computer Studies (ICS) Teacher – 1 Post

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement creative, participatory learning opportunities for students in ICS.
    • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
    • Use varied teaching methods, including IT, videos, small group discussions, and hands-on learning.
    • Assess students regularly through tests and exams and provide additional support for struggling students.
    • Engage students in extracurricular activities like subject clubs and debates.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Teaching Diploma with ICS specialization.
    • Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
    • Proficiency in Swahili and English (both written and spoken).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and email communication.
    • Willingness to live and work in Morogoro.

2. Bookkeeping and Commerce Teachers – 2 Posts

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement teaching plans for bookkeeping and commerce subjects.
    • Prepare lesson plans and materials tailored to different learning styles.
    • Teach classes according to the Tanzanian national curriculum and SEGA’s mission.
    • Assess students and provide individual support to ensure academic success.
    • Supervise extracurricular activities like subject clubs and competitions.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Teaching Diploma with specialization in Bookkeeping and Commerce.
    • Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
    • Strong communication skills in both Swahili and English.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and email.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
    • Willingness to live and work in Morogoro.

3. Security Guard – 1 Post

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Protect the campus and its residents from intruders and maintain a secure environment.
    • Supervise and train external security teams.
    • Conduct regular patrols and ensure proper communication among security guards.
    • Ensure all security systems are in good working condition and conduct regular drills.
    • Monitor visitors, enforce campus rules, and maintain logs of entry/exit times.
    • Be available to work during the day and at night, ensuring all security measures are in place.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • JKT or Militia Certificate.
    • Form IV Certificate.
    • NIDA registration.
    • At least three years of experience in a security role.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
    • Must be physically fit and prepared to live on campus.
