🌱 Recent Initiatives

In February 2024, Trócaire launched the Climate Justice Communities (CJC) programme in partnership with organizations such as SCIAF, CBM UK, and several Rwandan NGOs. This initiative aims to assist vulnerable communities in Gisagara, Karongi, and Ngororero Districts to build resilience against climate change impacts like floods and droughts. The programme is supported by the Scottish Government and focuses on community-led planning and action.

Additionally, Trócaire has been involved in conservation and livelihood projects in the Nyamagabe and Nyaruguru districts, promoting biodiversity and sustainable community development.
