Job Purpose:

To assist in the smooth running of beverage production lines while ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Support:

• Assist in daily production activities to meet output targets.
• Monitor and report production line performance (downtime, yield, waste).
• Ensure proper use of equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain production documentation (batch records, logs, etc.).

Quality Assurance:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring quality control checks at different production stages.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products (pH, Brix, microbiological tests, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and company policies.
• Collect and record product and environmental samples as required.
• Report deviations or non-conformities to supervisors.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate records of quality checks, non-conformance, and corrective actions.
• Support audits (internal and external) by preparing required documents and samples.
• Assist in inventory control of QA consumables and chemicals.

Safety & Hygiene:

• Adhere to factory safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Participate in health and safety trainings and drills.
• Promote a clean and organized working environment.

Profile – Ideal Candidate:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience:

• Having 3 years of experience in a food or beverage manufacturing setting, preferably in production or QA roles is an added asset.

Skills and Competencies:

• Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Basic lab skills and familiarity with testing equipment.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Working Conditions:

• Factory floor environment (may involve shifts, standing for long periods, noise).
• Use of PPE is mandatory.
• Occasionally required to handle chemicals or conduct tests in lab settings.
